lash Lift

Say YES to the No’s!

NO eyelash curlers NO mascara and NO false lashes needed.
At Nataya Beauty, we LOVE natural, and if you love the natural look too, our lash lift is the one for you.

Whilst the lash lift is long lasting, it also gives your eyes that natural wide-eyed look without having to rely on mascara or false lashes.

POOL PROOF and HEAT PROOF – Your lash treatment should last you up to 8 weeks* when properly applied at our Manchester city centre salon.

Forget the old hazardous routine of eyelash curlers and mascara in the morning and let this revolutionary lash lift treatment into your life.

What to expect…

This low-maintenance treatment,  will add LENGTHVOLUME and LIFT to your natural eyelashes. No harsh perming techniques and no frizz – we use gentle, innovative products to lift and straighten your natural lashes on silicon shields, rather than traditional perming ‘rods’, being kinder and more caring to your lashes. Your treatment also includes tinting to the top eyelashes. As lashes usually start to fade in colour at the tip, this will enable you to get the maximum length from your lashes.

If you don’t have the time to come into the salon, why not try our LVL Conditioning Serum, which is suitable for natural lashes, lash extensions and eyebrows.

Visit our Lash Lift Gallery for images of our real clients– the pictures say it all, and to keep your eyelashes looking lush for longer scroll down to read our lash lift “Aftercare” to get the most out of your treatment.

  • Have not completed a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your treatment
  • Had a reaction to the patch test
  • Taking antibiotics, severe acne or taking a vitamin A medication – e.g. Roaccutane (thins the skin and can cause skin to rip or tear when waxed)
  • Hypersensitive skin
  • Contagious skin disease – e.g. Ringworm, Active Herpes Simplex (cold sore), Impetigo
  • Use of skin peeling or skin thinning preparations
  • Use of sunbeds 24 hours prior to waxing or sunburnt skin
  • Conjunctivitis, sty’s, blepharitis or viral infections
  • Cataracts
  • Alopecia
  • Glaucoma
  • Diebetic Retinopathy
  • Trichotillomania
  • Psoriasis around the eye

If you are unsure about any of these restrictions, please call us, we are always here to help you.

Get ready!

A patch test must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. It will only take a few minutes, just call to arrange a convenient time.
It consists of a small dab of each product (5 in total) to the inside of your forearm, covered with a small plaster to prevent them from rubbing off.
Leave on the skin for a few hours, then wash off with water.

Arrive for your Lash Lift appointment without contact lenses, as your eyes will be shut for the duration of the treatment (around 45mins) and this could cause irritation or displacement of the lenses.

Don’t wear eye make-up on the day (especially mascara) and avoid oil-based products or waterproof mascara at least 2 days prior to your treatment. This can obstruct the treatment creams penetrating the lash and can affect lift results. To remove your eye make-up, we recommend the LVL oil-free make-up remover (available in-salon and online).

If you have recently tinted your eyelashes, and Vaseline/petroleum jelly were used, please inform us, as you may have to wait a few days before having your Lash Lift. We want you to get the very best from your treatment.

With our Lash Lifts lasting between 6-8 weeks (dependant on individual lash growth cycles), we think this treatment is excellent value for money. It is a very low maintenance procedure compared to eyelash extensions, and it is non-damaging to natural lashes, providing aftercare is followed.

A little TLC is required over the first 24-48hrs whilst the lift is still settling into place, and we have written a guideline with a few tips to help you maintain and prolong the life of your Lash Lift.

Remember, a lash lift procedure is very similar to a hair perm, and as such the hair must be kept well-nourished and treated delicately to avoid breakage/weakening.

Look after those lashes!

  • For the first 24 hours after your Lash Lift, do not use mascara and do not allow water to come in to contact with your lashes. Carefully wash around your eyes and avoid hot water. Try not to sleep on your face as this can crush the lashes whilst they are setting over the first day
  • For 48 hours after your Lash Lift, avoid hot water, steam or sweat (eg. Saunas, facial steamers, excessive work-outs, swimming, very hot steamy showers). Look out for opening a hot oven door too, as hot steam can come rushing out
  • Use a lash nourishing serum/conditioner daily (we sell these or can advise you of products)
  • Always brush lashes upwards regularly to help maintain lift and shape, especially after sleeping, cleansing the face and applying moisturisers or cosmetics
  • Be gentle, don’t scrub your eyes when washing your face
  • Do not use eyelash curlers, as lashes will be delicate after treatment, and could cause breakage
  • If wearing mascara, use water-based mascara, not a waterproof one
  • Use any oil-free make-up remover if mascara is worn, we recommend the LVL oil-free make-up remover (available in-salon and online)

Lash Tint

Make the most of your natural lashes with an eyelash tint. Tinting lashes can make a substantial difference to the look and length of your lashes. Eyelashes often incur sun-bleached tips. The sun can cause your natural lash colour to fade at the tips, therefore making your lashes look shorter. Top them up with a rich intense boost of colour to make them “pop”. Find your true length with a lash tint.  Various colours available.
